Abbie Schramm
Stable Owner, Trainer, Instructor, Certified Masterson Method Practitioner, Certified Farrier.
Abbie has spent over 30 years working alongside horses, guided by a lifelong curiosity and deep respect for their voices. With a degree in Education, experience in a mixed animal veterinary practice, and a background in homesteading and animal husbandry, she brings both knowledge and practicality to her work. Abbie is a certified farrier and a certified Masterson Method Practitioner, and she is continually expanding her education to better serve both horses and their humans. She sees her role not as a trainer, but as a translator — helping bridge communication, build understanding, and strengthen the partnership between horse and human.
Maddison Lee
Trainer, InstructorMaddison is a dedicated and thoughtful horsewoman who has spent the past few years apprenticing under Abbie at North Gait. Though early in her professional career, she brings a natural ability to read and adapt to a wide variety of horses, paired with a strong gift for clear communication with their owners. Maddison is active in 4-H and is always eager to explore new disciplines and deepen her understanding of every aspect of horsemanship. In 2025, she began taking on training horses independently, where her patience, consistency, and attention to detail quickly stood out. Working closely with Abbie, Maddison is building a solid foundation as both an instructor, trainer, and student of the horse.
